This is a recessed indirect LED fitting with state of the art optics. The fitting has been conceived to meet the growing demand for energy efficient lighting. Visually it has clean lines and a diffused light output with soft tones and minimal glare. The high performance LEDs are mounted directly to the specially designed heat sink component of the fitting which is matt black for optimal heat dissipation. This black component gives the only contrast to the fitting. The unique reflector is manufactured from specialist material and designed to give 98% reflectivity. This is the key to the overall performance of this luminaire and has been designed to give a low glare, pleasing appearance and wide distribution. This allows us to achieve over 500 lux average with fittings at 2.4m centres and each fitting consuming only 42 watts of power. The energy performance is exceptional, with a 93% light output ratio and LEDs with a performance of 120 lumens per watt giving in excess of 86 lumens per luminaire watt! The drivers used are also specialised and can be adjusted onsite to alter the light output of the fitting. They also feature technology to allow them to be dimmed to only 10% of its maximum should this be required. The fitting can be controlled by sensors which allow the light output to be tailored to individual requirements should ambient light be sufficient or indeed if no one was present. This fitting far exceeds all energy requirements of any current organisation or standard to exist to date.
